BRIDES OF THE MOST BLESSED TRINITY
At St. Eloi Church in Theriot
The Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity meet on the last Saturday of each month at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot on Bayou Dularge to pray for priests and new vocations to the holy priesthood. The meeting begins at 2:00 pm with Eucharistic Adoration, prayes the 20 decade rosary, confessions begin at 4:00 pm and Mass begins at 4:30 pm.
The Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity is a Blessed Apostolate with Its Foundation Day on Ascension Thursday 1992. It was blessed by Fr. Scott Dugas, who was then the Pastor of St. Eloi. It is a Private Lay Association with members (priests, religious and lay members) from around the world who offer daily prayer and sacrifices for serving priests, for more holy vocations to the priesthood, for the return of priests that have left the priesthood, for seminarians, for the souls of priests that are in purgatory and for souls who encourage others to do the same. It has been blessed by many priests, several bishops and Cardinal Arinize at the Vatican in October of 2004. The apostolate is consecrated to the Most Holy Blessed Trinity through the Immaculate Heart and Hands of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Divine Love, Patroness of Priests. It is totally obedient to the Magesterium of the Church. It has been under the spiritual direction of Fr. Dean Danos (a priest for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux) since 1989.
